It's not that bad, it has a sweet aftertaste and is quite delicious 😋 The noodles were medium-thick straight noodles.The boiling was just right and they were chewy and delicious. Menma is also jet black, but this one is also light and slightly sweet and soft. The char siu is also a bit firm, but I like the firmness and the flavor is well soaked in, so I think people will either like it or dislike it.It's a chewy char siu. The fried rice also has a lot of flavor. I guess I'm a little sticky😅 It had chopped chashu in it, but the heat added to it made it even harder. Although it was a weekday, I went to Miyagi Prefecture for business in Iwanuma City. So I left home a little early and this will be my 4th visit in about 5 years. I arrived at the parking lot just after 11am, and there were two groups of customers in line.The store opened about 5 minutes later.As soon as I entered the store, I was asked for my order, so I ordered ramen. It wasn't long before the long-awaited ``black guy'' arrived. A pitch-black but mellow soup with a strong hint of garlic, hard-boiled noodles, chewy char siu with no fat, and black, crunchy menma. It's definitely the best. The miso ramen and cantonmen ordered by the person next to me also looked delicious. My first visit was probably 20 years ago. I came here after hearing about it from someone's ramen blog. Also, in the past, I worked as an office worker, but when I suddenly needed to make a delivery, I loaded the package onto a truck and headed to the site in Kakuda City. This was a big opportunity for Kouka Hanten that suddenly came to me, but I have a bitter memory of making the big mistake of forgetting my wallet at work and coming home without being able to buy a drink, let alone lunch. Kouka Hanten's ramen is unique, but it is far from Yamagata. Also, there are not many errands in the Kakuda area. I wish there was a restaurant in Yamagata that served ramen like this... I will definitely visit again.
